Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program
RAMP is a high-tech career focused mentoring program for youth with disabilities. The RAMP program uses a combination of group, peer, and on-on-one mentoring promote the successful transition of RAMP youth to employment, continued learning opportunities and independent living.
 
RAMP has already taken vocational research trips to the MOCA, Apple, NAS Jacksonville, Peterbrooke Chocolatier and has volunteered with the Clara White Mission. Get involved today.

Disability Mentoring Day
Disability Mentoring Day, a professional mentoring experience, is sponsored nationally by the American Association of People with Disabilities. It began in 1999 as part of a White House effort to increase the profile of National Disability Awareness month, celebrated in October. National Disability Mentoring Day was patterned after other school-to-work activities and began with just three dozen student participants.

The Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC) of Northeast FLorida has provided service to individuals with disabilties for 32 years. Serving five counties, the ILRC operates by its mission to advocate independence for individuals with any type of a disability.
 
The ILRC offers a one-stop approach to all disability related needs. The Center has 30 programs with a wide range of services including benefits planning, advocacy, equipment loans and independent living skills trainings; all of which are provided for free to our consumers. With 25 highly trained staff members providing personalized service, the ILRC stands at the forefront of Florida disability serving non-profits.
